The Ectomobile, or Ecto-1 as it’s more affectionately known, is the unsung hero and trusty steed of the Ghostbusters, a team of out-of-work scientists who develop high-tech equipment to capture and contain ghosts. Basing themselves in a converted disused firehouse and starting with their first capture of ‘Slimer’ their battle with the supernatural culminates in a fight with Zuul the Gatekeeper of Gozer the shape-shifting god as they try to save New York from complete destruction leading to the climatic fight with Gozer’s manifestation of the Stay Puft marshmallow man and the ultimate inevitable crossing of the streams …
